Schaeuble plowing the German party line that that the EU proposals for fixing the banking system and mitigating any further future problems goes against EU treaties, and more importantly German wishes. God forbid we ever hear what will work rather that what won’t work, but as the Germans always have the lions share to pony up you can respect their unwillingness to sign up without a second thought.
