The Canadian dollar is the worst performer today. Today’s trade deficit numbers were worse than expected along with a negative revision to the October data.
In the bigger picture, USD/CAD has been consolidating between 1.0550 and 1.0738 since the start of November. Watch the top-end of that range on the intraday moves (high so far at 1.0720) and look out for 1.0706 on a closing basis, above would be the highest since 2010.
