IMF Lagarde: Funding pledges now at $316 billion

The latest country to pledge has been Poland, which has promised $8 billion. The only non-European country so far has been Japan with $60 billion. The target is around $400 billion as the IMF builds a war-chest to fight problems in Spain and Italy.
