There aren't any major expiries to take note of on the day, with the full list seen below.
As such, that will keep market players focused on the main event later today. That being the US labour market report. It's the first one for the new year and one that will be watched carefully as this is supposed to be a report that is more "normal" after the November one was hampered by the longest US government shutdown in history.

But as mentioned, it's not the only game in town though. The US Supreme Court ruling on tariffs could also be on the cards, so there's that. The court is expected to issue rulings on Friday but, as is customary, has not said what case or cases will be acted upon. However, Trump's tariffs will be one thing to watch in case it does come up.
