We’re not expecting any surprises from the lower house vote on the three nominees for the BOJ vacancies: Kuroda, Iwata and Nakaso will all be affirmed by the lower house today. The voting is scheduled to start at 0400GMT.
Orders in USD/JPY for today:
Topside: Sellers initially around 96.20, and more 96.35. There is barrier option interest at 96.75 with selling ahead of there – same again at 97.00
Downside: 95.80 has initial bids today then 95.60 stretching down to 95.40. There are plenty of bids. Trading sell stops below 95.40, bids again 95.00/25.
