Not a lot of love in the house for the greenback so far
EURUSD led the charge posting 2-year highs of 1.3948 but now USDJPY is slipping to test support around 102.50 and USDCHF has just posted session lows of 0.8718 having now cleanly broken down below 0.8750.
Cable continues its resurrection from yesterday’s fall and has posted session highs of 1.6684 ahead of offers between 1.6685-1.6700. I’m surprised by the extent of the bounce and not sure if we have capped, so not diving in to sell again just yet.
AUDUSD has shrugged off the weak Chinese data and back up to 0.9060 from 0.9044
All in all it should be a lively session ahead.
