FX monthly performance in May

The loonie was the top performer while the euro lagged but the bigger takeaway for me is the lack of volatility.

FX moves vs USD in May

If you go back to May 2013 you had +7% moves in AUD and NZD and some of the smallest moves were +2%. In 2012, NZD/JPY moved more than 10%.

Let’s hope June brings some better moves.
