EUR/USD has been corpse-like in Asia of late. What a shock to it moving! (I’m cheating a bit by claiming late New York as Asia).The ECB meeting is in Europe-time today, EUR/USD will be under pressure on any bounces today ahead of this.
- Close to market there are bids 1.2960/65 but with stops below 1.2960. Dealers report bids ahead of option-related interest at 1.2950 (its barrier-option related).
- Bids again 1.2900/20
- Major support down towards 1.2880 and through to 1.2850
