.9970 was the technical breakdown level so it’s no surprise to see some opportunist sellers lined up at that level, for the first test at least. There are also reports of decent-sized buying interest but that is around 100 pips lower near yesterday’s lows. I’d guess that the majority of trailing short-stops will now be placed back above 1.0000.
