At 0030GMT we get Australia’s January trade balance figures (preview coming). We’ve just seen the AIG PCI come in at 46.2 vs. 36.2 in January – a big improvement.

For AUD/USD today:

Topside:

• Traders report offers 1.0245/55 (close to market)
• then around 1.0265/75.
• More offers 1.0300-10.

On the downside

• we are already seeing bids 1.0225/35 – again, this is close to market right now.
• More 1.2015/20 and 1.0195/10.
• Stops building below 1.0180/85
