The timing I have is 0830 GMT / 1330 US Eastern time.
Conjecture centres on:
- there may be an announcement that the government will stop selling cryptocurrencies it confiscates in criminal cases, and use them to establish a national stockpile
- Trump may issue an executive order to create a Bitcoin reserve, which would involve government purchase of the crypto
- more favourable tax treatment of crypto (subject to Congressional review/approval)
