Buy and hold is a losing bet most of the time
A Boston College study of 2390 ICOs reports that 56% of crypto tokens die within four months of the offering.
"What we find is that once you go beyond three months, at most six months, they don't outperform other cryptocurrencies," said author Leonard Kostovetsky. "The strongest return is actually in the first month."
