Google search interest for Bitcoin is showing disinterest from the mainstream
Global online searches for the term "Bitcoin" have fallen alongside Bitcoin prices since December, and this could present a new challenge for investors.
The thing about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies is that it is also a "game" of human psychology, and statistics like this show that while cryptocurrency veterans/enthusiasts are likely still to be preaching its value, the general public is not really listening - especially when prices are falling and the euphoria is fading.
And that's going to work against Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in terms of getting more money going into the market, especially if many of those people got burned during the fall after prices hit a peak at the end of December.
