David Chaum has unveiled a new platform to speed trading of digital cash
The Wall Street Journal carrying this (Elixxer news hit yesterday I believe?, but announced today in Singapore)
Claimed to allow thousands of transactions to be processed within seconds. Could be scaled for consumer transactions (for example Visa can process tens of thousands in a second)
