Further comments by ECB member Ardo Hansson on the day
No surprises here as the ECB has been a constant naysayer on cryptocurrencies - as are most central banks.
The issue for central banks and cryptocurrencies is regulation, and more so with the ECB. Draghi has in the past repeatedly said that any regulation pertaining to cryptocurrencies will not fall under the ECB's purview, and if so then how would Europe go about regulating it?
