Armed with handguns, they stormed into the office of a Bitcoin exchange in Ottawa, Canada. They tied up four of the employees, but did not spot a fifth employee in another room - who managed to contact the police.
During the time, knowing they couldn't steal physical Bitcoins they asked the employees to perform a transaction to transfer the Bitcoins instead.
Needless to say, the police arrived and they fled the scene without obtaining anything. However, two of them managed to get away while one of them was caught.
